But, alas, things are no longer normal in the craps universe since the creation of the Small, Tall, and All bets. Although they won their Pass Line bets, they boo you for rolling a 7 because their Small, Tall, and All bets lose. Remember, if a 7 appears at any time before all the numbers in the set, then the bet loses. The Play Prior to the come-out roll, players may place an optional wager on one or more of the three Bonus Craps propositional wagers (i.e., “All Small,” “All Tall,” or “Make ‘Em All”). Each Bonus Craps wager is independent and has no effect on the primary game of Craps or other wagers.

I'm interested in the true odds on a new bet I saw at Treasure Island this last week. I have not seen it at other casinos.
1. The 'All Small' bet pays 35 for 1, and pays when you roll a 2,3,4,5,6 before a 7. The bet carries over if you make your point, and only cancels when a 7 is rolled.
2. The 'All Tall' bet pays the same 35 for 1, and pays when you roll a 8,9,10,11,12 before a 7. Same odds as the 'All Small'.
3. The big bet is the 'All or Nothing at All' which pays around 170 for 1 I believe (not exactly sure: between 145 and 175). It pays when you roll every number except a 7, before you roll a 7.
I put a dollar on each of the 3 bets after every 7 and hit the big payoff once over 2 hours, (paying the equivalent of about 240 for 1, which includes the 35, 35, and 170)
I then started playing 3 dollars on each after every 7 and hit the big payoff once over 2 hours a couple nights after, paying me over $700 for the $9.
If anyone can figure out the true odds I'd appreciate it.

With regard to not allowing all three bets to be re-bet after a 7 is rolled immediately after a point (e.g. A 7 roll where the shooter retains the dice) or after the All bet has been completed by a shooter, is a silly procedure that decreases the operators win on the Small/Tall/All. I think SamsTown on the Boulder Strip has that.

In May 2011, was at the Wynn and they now have the 'All, Tall and Small Bet' it on a few of their craps tables.
In my opinion, with the new table felt, it really changed the table characterists. A year ago I was very successful on several of their craps tables.
This year I helped them pay the light bill.

Also saw it at the Encore the day after WoVCon I.

OMG! It's the new Fire Bet!
Seriously, how does it compare to the Fire Bet? According to a hurried look at the Wizard's site yesterday evening, this bet trio has a lower house edge, but also a lower payoff.

Not exactly. There are several important differences.
There are three different bets in the All bet series.
Only one bet for FireBet.
A seven on a mid-roll come-out kills the All bets, requiring replacement mid-roll.
FireBets can only be made at the start of a shooter's roll, and don't come down until the shooter sevens-out.
The biggest difference, the All bet is counter to traditional craps betting. I.E. You're not interested in points, but numbers. A seven is always bad.
I saw it last Sept at Wynn. About 10 people at the table, only 1 guy playing it. $5 every 7 - $2 on each of the High and Low, $1 on the All. I was there about half an hour, and he never got paid.

My mistake. I meant as far as house edge and pay-outs. I realize the mechanics are quite different.

Sucker bets are weird. In some games virtually everyone plays them, in some games everyone plays one or two but avoid another, and new side bets, I presume, take time to be accepted by more than a handful of players.
DJTeddyBear
As side bets go, the FireBet is appealing in that that it's one bet for the duration of the shooter's turn.
All small all tall craps machinesIt's the only side bet I ever play, and I think other people play it, while not playing other side bets, for the same reason.

Is it still at the Wynn?

Craps has been around a long time, but casinos are still coming up with new ways to keep things interesting. (Translation: To get our clams. Cheddar. Cabbage. You know what we mean.)

In craps, those new things come in the form of side, or “proposition,” bets. The popular “Fire Bet” is a good example. During a recent craps session at Excalibur, we encountered three new bets to spice up the game.

From what we hear, these bets have only been in Vegas for about six months.

These craps side bets can be found in the middle of the table, in front of the pit boss. The pit boss is the floor manager in a suit who oversees the table and dealers, and who resolves disputes and tells the security guys when it’s time to whack a cheater. Just kidding. Player are rarely whacked. Putting heads in vices is more of a thing these days.

Anyway, the pit boss is the person who places and monitors these side bets. They’re called “All Small,” “All Tall” and “All or Nothing at All.”

These side bets can be made for as little as a dollar. The pit boss also keeps track of the numbers as they hit, placing little “buttons” on the relevant numbers.

First, “All Small.” To win this bet, the shooter must hit five small numbers (2,3,4,5,6) before a seven. The bet pays 35-for-1, so the house has an edge of 7.76%.

See, because it rhymes.

The house edge is the same for “All Tall.” Again, five numbers have to be hit before a seven (8,9,10,11,12). The order in which they’re rolled doesn’t matter, of course.

Spread the love around: A buck for the dealers, a buck for the cocktail waitress and a buck for this sucker bet.

“All or Nothing at All” pays 176-for-1, mainly because mathematicians are the real bosses of casinos, and they always know what to pay to ensure the house gets its cut. In this case, the house edge is 7.99%. A shooter has to hit a mere 10 numbers before a seven (2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12).

All Tall All Small Craps Las Vegas

The Excalibur pit boss said a customer bet $50 here on Oct. 22, 2013, walking away with $8,800.

In the grand scheme of casinos, these craps side bets aren’t great for the player, but they aren’t horrible, either. By comparison, one of our favorite side bets, the hard six and eight, pay 9-1, with a house edge of 9.09%. The house edge for a hard four and 10 is 11.11%. They’re called “hard ways” because, hey, cocktail waitresses.

All Small All Tall Craps Tables

Betting the Big Red Seven has a hefty 16.67% house edge.

We’re all for trying a “sucker” side bet every once in awhile to change things up at the craps table. Because, ultimately, it’s only a sucker bet if it doesn’t pay off!
